I’m literally struggling to find somebody interested to get my new website to completion using Middleman. It doesn’t sound like a widely used framework?
Anybody here interested?
@andrea_moro While I can’t speak for everyone I do believe that Middleman is general used by people that know how to build their own sites, at the very least html, css, some javascript background and either learning or have a background in Ruby. Each time you update your site you’re going to be working in the terminal so if you don’t have a background with stuff like that I don’t think Middleman would be the best fit unless you hired someone to update for you, sounds like a pain and costly process for you.
Don’t get me wrong @dikaio, I’ve been building sites since 1994. The only reason for seeking help is
a) lack of time, b) inexperience with ROR (that I’m filling in while completing another project during these days.
That said, I move out from the dev, that’s why I was keen to get some support as I felt this would have been easier. But apparently it is proving more time consuming finding a candidate rather than doing the job by myself.
