Duplicate Meta Content for Blog indices of tags, dates, etc

Hey Everyone,

I’ve got our corporate site running on Middleman and it’s working really well. Now deep diving into our SEO and noticing that SEM rush and similar tools are complaining about various blog index pages with duplicate meta tags (title, description, etc).

More specifically the calendar and tag templates that generate index pages for years, months, days, and tags.

Does anyone have a method for overcoming this? The only other related post I was able to find was this but it wasn’t helpful for my use case: Customize Template Per Blog Tag for SEO

For SEO you probably just want to mark all those pages “noindex” anyway, eh?

Actually, I think the more internal links you have on the site, the better for SEO purposes as you’d generate a few more per article with this approach.
